    You should be ok as long as they are added at the same time or are different sizes!
    Luck will also play a part...make sure you don't add the shipping water to your tank either, or you run the risk of slime-poisoning. Also be careful not to inadvertantly remove your puffer from the water as it can't expel the trapped air in its body!
