not what you think, I have recently bought some clams on a half shell, and have been trying to feed them to my puffers. My problem is my tangs love clams apparently, as soon as they hit the water my purple and powder blue ate the clam in like 5 seconds. and all that hit the bottom was an empty shell. I could see puffers were very interested in it but they never got a chance.

Does anyone have any tips on how i can feed it to just the puffers, something simple like buy full shelled clams? or what?

maybe a full shell will work. if it's strong enough the tangs can't eat the meat inside so the puffers can get a chance to get some food. HTH ...

or split it up and feed in seperate areas. You might also want to consider a food the tangs like better, let them get full or at least a little less interested then try the puffers.

the tangs love everything, problem is the clams seem like new food and cant help themselves. I'll look for full shell thanks.
