Pump for BRS carbon reactor

    I am thinking about ordering the BRS carbon reactor for my 30long. I guess first question is would this be overkill for that size tank. If not, then what kind of pump would be best. I know they recommend the MJ1200 but that seems a little much to me for carbon. I was thinking more along the lines of a 600 or 900 or a different brand of pump all together. Anybody have any recommendations or experience with these reactors/pumps?

    i have the same one, and i use the mj 1200, nice flow with no probs
