Actually, is it ok to have the chilled water from the chiller come right into the display tank? Now thinking about it, it doesn't sound right...

Ok, I have another idea. FYI, I am currently running 1/2" PVC for my overflow which is flowing roughly 200gph to my sump, and I'm using a Mag 7 in my sump for the return. I have found at about 4ft head the Mag 7 will pump about 450gph. So when I set up my sump, I put a "Y" in the return to recirculate water in my sump and lessen the flow to my display. Now my question is, should I just plumb the chiller to my in sump Mag 7 through the "Y" connection that is problably flowing at 250GPH. It would connect into the "Y", and the Mag 7 would pretty much push the water through the chiller and back into the sump.. How about that setup?
