   Don't have any experience with those Tetra pumps ... typically people go for 10 x water volume overall though. Depends on if you have powerheads or not, etc.. good luck, post some pics when done.

   Go with a mag drive pump, you won't regret it. Check out www.123ponds.com for various pumps. Stay away from the Rio's for except for maybe the Rio hyperflow pumps for sump use.
