    We all know the ocean shuts off for 30 minutes for feeding everyday ;)

    My pumps are on 24/7 also.

    i turn my main pump off but leave everything else running. nothing is more irritating to me than to put in the food and as soon as it hits the water, over the overflow it goes... to rot in the sump or wasted in the protein skimmer.

    Agreed,it also gives the bottom feeding cuc a chance to get food that otherwise can't chase it (hermits,nassisarius snails,etc.).I kill flow for about 15/20 min for feeding.
