Purchased a Biocube 8 and of course a ballast is dead

    so i just picked up a bc 8 to start another reef tank, and of course it has a dead ballast. i didnt pay much for the tank and it came with 2 new bulbs, 5 new filter pads and a few other items so im not super pissed. does n e one know of a ballast that will run the bulbs that is cheap? im not buying an oceanic ballast. they are $50 and are crap, and if i spent that on a new one i would have 2x my investment...thanks for n e help....
