purple and orange monti cap?

i know people put the green and orange together and they fuse and grow together.
but will the purple and orange grow together and fuse?

 

Good question!!! I like both of them, but I did not know they could fuse!

 

If you put a small frag of each color on a rock or plug, they will grow together. I don't know if they will actually fuse though. I do remember seeing some experiments involving growing two color together. But to answer your specific question, it doesn't matter what color the caps are.

Mine kinda fused but the purple will takeover. I would not recommend growing them close.
