Purple Anenome?

    Found this little guy in the live rock today and I have no idea what it is. Any insight?

    Most Majano I've seen tend to be shades of green or brown. Other than coloration being different that would be my guess.

    Ya I thought that to. I've never seen any other shade than that green/brown coloration.

    Kinda looks like it. This little anenome is the half the size of my pinkie fingernail.

    same thing happened to me, mine turned out to grow into a torch

    You know, I kind of thought that myself at first...then talked myself out of it, LOL!

    Can you very gently get it to close up and see if it has a skeleton it's growing out of? Maybe even catch a clear macro photo of it while it's closed.

    That almost makes sense to me. I used to have a torch in there about a month ago.
