Are these purple death palys? That's what the guy is advertising them as. He said he bought the frag at $20 a polyp and there's more than the original 6 now. I know about the apastia in the pic. Also is this frag worth $50? Its not coming with the rock, its on a frag plug. How hard is it to remove a frag from a plug? Id rather just glue it to a peice of live rock. The peice is almost center in the picture, kinda down and to the right of center.

it's hard to tell from the pic because color is always a little off in a pic, so I don't know just how they look, but they don't look just quite right to me, but I'm really picky about my purple and blue paly/zoas. As far as I know most of them react quite differently under different light.

Look like Purple Deaths to me. I've seen them go for $20/polyp, and I've seen a 15 Polyp frag go for $60...so it's all about what it is worth to you.

In his post he said there's 20+ polyps. Idk about them being on a frag plug. I don't really have anywhere to put a frag plug...

Kinda look like them to me, compare them to the page on CoralPedia.com as far as that being worth 50 bucks, yeah I count 18 polyps that you can see and you gotta know that there is at least 4 or 6 more on the side you cannot see. So just as 18 that makes them 2.78 each.

Actually all you would have to do is take a pliers or side cutters and break the plug off of the plate then just glue the plate to your rocks. The Zoas will eventually grow off the plate on the rocks surrounding the plug. This would actually be better than cutting them off the plug because if you cut them off they will stop growing for a while or you can possibly kill them if you don't do it just right. Cutting them off a plug it really dicey because its not smooth like glass is and you could possibly cut into the base which will kill them. With glass its really easy because you can get under them easy.

I think they are, but your tank doesn't have the perfect water quality and/or the lighting to show off there color. Thats why they are browner.

those are legit, i paid 25$ per polyp. and they reproduce very fast, i bout it with 5 and now have over a dozen! and if you want a deep purple color, they should be put lower in the tank, and partially in shade. IMO

Cut the stem off, and glue it to a rock
