I just added two purple firefish to my 120G tank last night. I saw where one of them hid and I saw the general area of the second but didnt see where it got off too.

Today, only the one I found is out, and it has been out the whole day on one side of the tank, with still no signs of the other.

Could the other just be slower to acclimate than the other? Its just kind of got me wondering why one adapted so quickly and the other still hasn't been seen anywhere since he was put in the tank.

    Any input would be appreciated.

Has anyone heard of this being similar with Black Cap Basslets? I have not seen it either!

Providing that your water params are in check,it's normal for lot of different species of fish to hide out until they get adjusted to the tank and comfortable with thier new surroundings,so probably nothing to worry about.
