I just recived an order of a few things including a Purple Frilly Gorgonia which was badly stressed and damaged during shipping. The water it was shipped in was freezing cold when i opened the box (the heat pack had long ago died out). I noticed when i opend the bag that lots of the purple poylp coading had rubbed off changing the water's color. Once the gorgonia was acclumated i saw the full damage. About 40% of the poylp coating was gone exposing the green skeleton. Also one of the branchs is snaped but not completely broken off. I called the company i placed my order with and it went to voicemail. I've taken pictures and emailed them to the company so i have proof it came outa the box like this but i was looking for some advice when i called that hopefully some one here can help with, will the polyp covering grow back? will the broken branch heal?

It's hard to tell. I'm no Gorgonia expert but I would remove the damaged part
