Purple LED Strip or UV LED Strip?

    I have two 12,000K T5 bulbs with a blue LED strip and I want to get either a purple LED strip or a UV LED strip. The UV LED strips are hard to find and more expensive. I found a site that has purple high intensity water proof LED strips and with the strip and shipping it's just under $30. I have the 12V power supply needed already. Should I just go ahead and get the purple? Is there really any difference in the color of the corals with a purple LED compared to a UV? I want to get this LED strip to compliment the flourescents and overall color and look to my reef. Is purple just as good as a UV?
