[IMG]So I just picked up this frag it's about 1.5" only 10 bucks. When I first put it in, had a reddish color. Now it's starting to color up and have decent polyp extension.

??? Are you talking about the Steve Tyree Purple Monster valida(spelling) acro? Those are REALLY rare and cost about $120 for a .5-1 inch frag!

It was labeled on the site and sold to me as purple monster. I go to Fragalot.ca. Any coral is ten bucks. They have sooo many amazing ones to choose. I've gotten so much from them lately.

Not to be a downer but it's not even a look alike. It is still a great looking coral and I always say I don't care what it's name is, if I like it and it is in my price range I buy it.Great find.

Nice frag. It looks pretty healthy too. My guess is that it is going to color up a bunch in your system after it settles in for a few months. :)

How is your frag doing? It should be acclimated by now.
