I have a rock of purple mushrooms that never seem to bloom out like they used to. I have had to move them several times because they get knocked over, but where is the best place for them?

My mushrooms start to bloom as soon as i turn the lights on and they shrink when i turn them off, they don't require bright light, but just put them in direct light on the sandbed, in a slow flow area, and they will be good...

You have low lighting for a 100gallon tank in my opinion, maybe upgrade to a 6 or even a 8 tube t5 pendant?

sometimes mushrooms get enough light and don't need to bloom out far. As long as they are blooming I wouldn't worry to much. But also how are you paramiters.

I had a bunch of red mushrooms in my nano and decided to move some over to my 110 under MH lighting to see how they would react...they took off like wildfire. These things have almost doubled in size and seem to just love it. I don't know if it is the light intensity or the 20K spectrum but it's really cool. My colt has done the same thing.
