Purple polyps falling off rock they were attached to?

I keep seeing my purple mushrooms laying on the sand like they are falling off the rock... They are fully intact, just removed from the rock.. I have an Emporer Angel... Is this the cause? I havent noticed him bothering them but have read they are sometimes rough on soft corals. Thanks for any info.

 

mushrooms will move for various reasons. Sometimes it is just best to let them move. Wether it be light or a nussance fish they will find a way.

 

Hello Jack, mushrooms will do that. Sometimes they don't like where they are (flow, light etc) other times it is to make room for more off a certain rock. I was going to post this anyway to show it off so you get the first peak. So far it has produced at least 10 new ones. It started out with 4 mushrooms and after two weeks 2 moved but I left it alone and that is when it exploded!
The one in the back (less light, go figure) gets huge as you can kind of see.
