In the second week of cycling, noticing alot more purple spots forming around the tank. Looked in the fuge and noticed this sudden growth of purple slime. I added a small piece of rock that was covered completely in coraline when I started cycling, hoping to get it to spread. Is it coraline or something else? Thanks,

Agreed. Good flow will keep it in check.

Thanks, right now its only in the fuge, and it has plenty of flow. I take it cyanobacteria isn't harmful? I actually kinda like the purple, lol.

We probably wouldn't be breathing if it weren't for cyanobacteria :) One of the world's largest producers of oxygen. In the fuge is fine. If it gets out of control in your DT you can try some of these suggestions.
