Actually, you can slow down the metabolism by feeding less, which in return will slow it's growth. But he still won't be very comfortable for very long in there. I wouldn't even risk it. If a tank is too small for a tang, they can be very aggressive and territorial. Might wind up harming/killing your other fish for more room as he grows. I'm really sorry to say it Claic, but it's just not a big enough environment for the fish.

Go to SWF.com and buy one! I had mine in a 65 G Tank and he did fine.....Plan on upgrading your tank to handle the fish....After you get him yo'll find a way to upgrade....TRUST ME!!!! I did!!! GOOD LUCK forget the negative energy.

There's no negative energy here, it's called common sense/experience.

Like stated above, Feeding more often speeds up the grown, however with not feeding tangs a varied diet you could put them up to the grasp of Head and lateral line erosion disease. I feed my tangs a varied diet, None are fat, but healthy.

... Neither of us are trying to be rude. If i remember right Claic had some tank issues back. and Im just looking out for them. Success is much sweeter then failure.
