A Purple Tang grows to 10" and needs a 125 gallon aquarium minimum.(Even that is too small IMO).
A Blue Tang grows to a foot in length and requires a 180 gallon aquarium(or larger).
Failure to provide these fish with adequate room and you will probably find yourself battling Ich constantly.
There are plenty of "show" fish that will comfortably fit in your aquarium unfortunately these are not them.;)

Hippos get very big very quickly.

I would not recommend either one for a 90, however a purple would be much happier for much longer than the blue in that size tank.

I would stick to bristletooth species for that size or yellow tank

Well if Mr saltwater tank jumped off a bridge......?lol sorry! Vinny's right, you're only setting yourself up for a massive Ich problem down the road! Check out a yellow tang or some cool wrasse, or a bicolor or flame angel!

you should be fine as long as its small. They are very slow growers.
