    Purple Tangs are not bullies as a rule, however it can be hit and miss with tangs. IMO, it should have a bigger tank, but if you provide it hiding places it should be okay.

    I like fish just not as much as corals thats why I only want a couple fish so I dont have that bio-load of alot of fish. Thats why I only have 4 fish in it now

    Your fine dude. Get the fish if you want it. But your not allowed to get it unless your going to report back to us about it, and with pics. ;) ;D

    I strongly disagree, and i believe purple tangs to be more of the aggresive tang going

    ^ I wouldn't trust info from the marinecenter website (first link in above post). It says min tank size is 20 (gallons?) for a purple tang. If they can't get the tank size in the right ballpark, how can you trust anything else they say? It's always good to find multiple sources for info.

    For a 75g, if it's going to be the last fish, get it. How much was the price for it at that LFS?

    I agree with phoenix, purple tangs are probably the most aggressive tang that is commonly found in commercial stores... I would say he is fine to get, but definently wait until last, or add fish that are bigger and more aggressive than him after, (triggers, angels, some large wrasses.. etc)
