i have this snail looking thing that i need help figuring out what it is. i cant get a pic since its shell is the same color as my lr. it blends in perfectly to the rock so you have to hunt closely. my live rock is violet in color and so is his shell. whats wierd is his shell is tiny compared to its slimey body. yesterday i saw it make a bridge out of itself to climb across a gap in the rock. it was a pretty large gap so it streched itself out about an inch to make it across.
    any ideas?

My guess is a stomella snail... but without a pic its hard to ID. I have a bunch of them (like 50 - 60) until my cleaner shrimp ate them all :-/.

    hey... glad i could help.

Do you have a cleaner shrimp. If so try to check it out at night with a flash light to see if it trys to eat them. Just want to know if its just my shrimp thats not "normal" or do all of them eat stomellas.

ok cool... if you dont have allot of them give them a coupls of weeks and you will have plenty. I started out with 2 hitch hikers on a piece of rock and after a couple weeks i had 50 or 60 of them... un til i bought my cleaner shrimp and he took care of them.
