Permanent spazes.... but nobody has really kept them too long to know if they ever chill.

They were so calm at the store, just relaxing to watch.

Please keep us updated. I've been wanting to try one, as I tend to think they'd do just fine with my wrasses. Also, my tank is fully covered with clear mesh, so jumping wouldn't be an issue for me. I've also considered a flashing tilefish.

The flashing tilefish is also something I looked at, but I heard that you most likely need a pair or they wont flash. Also researched it and the bluejaw tilefish is almot more calm and tends to eat everything. Well after night one my trio became a pair. I woke up and one had jumped through the eggcrate and was gone. They both have calmed down alot, and found caves where they can retreat to when scared. They both stick together always its cute. I will definately keep you all updated. Now to get them to eat!

I've had several fish go through eggcrate before I went to clear mesh. Not to be a pessimist, but it will happen again.

I will get some mesh, actually I already have some left overs from replacing a screendoor. Good news they love to eat! They were not timid at all when it comes to eating time, they get right in the middle and steal food away from the other fish. Hopefully it contiunes.
