purple up

Double2mk and mattchew - Karma to both of you guys. I couldn't figure out why my Purple up wasn't working...read your posts, walked and and sure enough, big hard disk on the bottom of my bottle. Did the bang, bang thing...then the SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE...10 minutes later...SHAKE, SHAKE thing and the rattling finally stopped.

Poured it in and it looked COMPLETELY different...very milky and much thicker.

Now like everything else.. Dont over do it. When I dosed I did evey 3 or s days with no problem. You should keep an eye on the Iodine Levels.
Salifert Iodine Test Kit (Saltwater Aquarium Supplies > Test Kits > Iodine Kits )

 

Also keep an eye of the pH - I've heard that many people experience major pH problems when using Purple Up.

 

Just get the water prameters up and steady and Give the coralline a yr or two.. It takes time.. Nothing other then proper reef water quality will make it grow.. Its Takes time..
