    There is not necessarily anything wrong with having the option to dim - it's just when aquarists start playing with the controls on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis that it becomes stressful to the invert. Stability is key!

    ok thanks for the great info.
    i do not think i'm going to be doing this. but for one of the lights the daylights i might have them dim in.
