Wondering if anybody has ever tried this. I was considering trying to put a laquer on my all glass pine stand to give it a nice shine, has anyone tried this.

    Thanks

I use clear coats for most of my stands/canopies.

Use a water proof Polyurithane (sp?).

Do you think it will make a difference? My fiance is the one who really wants me to do it, but I'm afraid of it looking bad and then I'm screwed and have to look at an ugly stand. I sure as hell am not going to break the tank down if it turns out bad.

As with most finishes, try it on an unexposed part first.

I applied some this morning on the back of the stand 2 coats, so I'll check it out later today.
