Puzzled

So in my 100g tank my wife noticed something and I'm not quite sure what it is. I can't get a photo because my tank is so full of pods the water looks cloudy! So I'll explain as best I can. It's about the size of a half dollar and is blood red, it looks like a thick film on the rock and has nuclear green dots which appear to have mouths. Around the green dots there are anemone like tentacles spread out. I would say there are roughly 5-6 of these green mouths. Anyone have a clue without seeing a pocture what this is??

 

Is it an algae? or something else?

 

It's deffinatley not an aglae. As I stated it has tentacles, very weird. I've never seen anything like it

From you description it almost sounds like a chalice or something. Impossible to say without a picture though...

It does sort of sound like a chalice. With the body being red and the eyes green. The tenticles all come from the green "eyes"?
