So they were selling this at my LFS, so I'm assuming reef safe. Just wanted to check... I've got it drying but before I add the overflow to my 55G I thought I would check to make sure I don't kill the system.

    name:
    WELD*ON - 705 PVC INDUSTRIAL GRADE

I can't find anything about reef safe on the label. The LFS has never steered me wrong and they've given me great advice that 3reef'ers have backed up but I wanted to make sure. THanks!

PVC glue in general is safe once dried.

Shouldn't have a problem with Weld-On. Just make sure it's fully cured before putting in contact with water. If in doubt go to HomeDepot and buy Oatey's regular clear pvc cement and primer.

It'll be good once fully dry, like any other PVC cement.

I used Weld*On 795 on my system. The 795 is made for flexible or rigid PVC. Just keep i mind, the glue must be used within 3 years of the date on the botton of the can. If it's jelly, the glue is bad & don't use...

all the sumps and tank plumbing at the oklahoma aquarium are made from pvc and it's just glued together with the primer and pvc glue plumbers use.
