    It's safe to use pvc cement for my sump piping correct?

    I believe the kind I used was rain or shine

    Don't forget to use unions,they come in handy when you want to clean, add,re-plumb or have a problem ;) .

    I once dropped an open can of PVC cement. When it hit the floor, it splashed up and guess where it landed? Right in our tank. I quickly dipped all of it out that I could get. I was worried that fresh cement would crash our tank but I never saw any ill effects.
