    im gettin a mantis and the biggest one i am thinkin about choosing from is about 4 inches big at max. how big of a pipe should i get and what do i need to do to it before i put the pipe in my tank?

    no pipe preparation, you could go 3/4 or 1 inch personal preference. what kind of mantis?

    platysoma or smithii or wennerae? probably the wennerae cause i love the colors on it.
