pwr down

i went to clean my filter for my hob skimmer and water started going every where. i was able to turn everything of in time in case of fire and sorts. i was awaken by my diamond goby at the top of the the water trying to jump out. by that time i was able to turn some things on and a pwr strip ruin by what happen. i did find the diamomnd goby on the floor but could not find my firefish or hawkfish anywhere. the rest of the fish are doing great granted the are damseals of some sort. i even used a flashlight to try to find bodies and couldnt. i didnt have anything running for i dont know 3 or 4 hours. just wondering why my hawkfish and firefish arent around anymore when the rest are.

 

They are probably hiding in the rocks - have you seen them this morning?

 

i havent seen any except my diamond goby on the floor.

 

They may be hiding.....especially the firefish they are amazing hiders

 

well its ben a couple of days now and no sign what so ever .

 

cats or dogs in the house?

and have you tried food to coax them out?

 

yes have both dogs and cats. i feed my fish all the time. i even used a flashlight to find the missing fish. i just dont understand what happen. i did have another pwr down but nothing happen. atm i have a blue tux urchin, longspine urchin, a starfish, 4 bluegreen chromis, a damsel, and a clownfish.
