I'm considering adding a pygmy cherub to my reef, but first I'm wondering how bad the risk is to my clam collection. Currently in the tank I have a blackfoot clown, pygmy wrasse, banded sleeper goby and mandarin.for inverts I have soft coral, for species if anemone and for six inch plus clams. What are your thoughts?

Personally I wouldn't risk it. Just thinking of trying to get the fish out if things did turn sour.....especially with clams in your tank.

I had mine before I added my LPS and soft corals. It's only been about a month or do with him in the tank, but he's payed no attention to any of my corals. No idea about clams though.

He's a really active fish, I like him a lot. Always trying to squeeze himself through random holes in my rocks.

+1 Absolute nightmare trying to remove this fish if you indeed have an issue. While it is some people's thought that if they are kept well fed they will leave your corals alone I don't share this sentiment. I have never had any with clams but of the three I have owned in the past two nipped corals. Love these fish but I wouldn't risk it either.

Point taken. Thanks for the advice. It looks like I'm back to the drawing board.
