Lets say if have 2 fish with ich and they die? Will ich still be in your tank? If so how longbefore it dies out? Dosnt ich need to host a fish in like 3 days or it will die? Those 2 Q's I would like to know,
    Thanks!

If those are the only two fish in the tank it will be completely gone from your system in 6 weeks. Even if your other fish dont show signs of ich they are carrying it.

8 weeks without fish will guarantee no Ich.
Not true, My lionfish got reinfected after leaving my aquarium fishless for 6 weeks. I should've waited the extra 2. Yes, chances are very rare ich can live up to 8 weeks, but I was one of the unlucky few.

the EXACT same thing happened to me with my lionfish..let my tank sit 6 1/2 weeks..put him in after QT for a few weeks..a week later he had ich..i would definitely suggest the extra 2 weeks of no fish!!
