Q: Will nassarius snails make raise nitrates?

    Will adding nassarius snails make my nitrates rise in my tank due to them stirring the sandbed which has been untouched for about a month and half?

    i would say no your only really get that danger from small burrowers in tanks set up for years.

    but it might because you have to feed them meat unless you overfeed regualrly.
