Okay, what is dipping? It's been referred to in many, many posts I've read both in regard to fish and coral.

I have yet to quarantine anything I've purchased and have been very, very lucky so far. However, I'm getting to the point where I do not want to take the risk for I now have too much to "lose." Looking for suggestions - simple and easy, hopefully. Don't expect to add much more, but should have a "how to" nearby for when I do.

    Thanks.

Linda I sent you a little bottle of dip for your corals its taped to the liner lid next to the heat pac. You have enough there for a gallon of water You can either add all the corals to a little bucket and the water in the bags its all the same water and pour that bottle of dip and let them set and soak for 10 Min's. Or you can pour a bit into each bag as they float.. Just don't let them touch if all in the same bucket.. Then just set them in your tank after the bath .. I dipped them just before bagging them up so they are clean and may be a bit closed up after their Journey :) But they will open in a day of less..

Then you Can DIP IN OTHER SOLUTIONS TO RID THE CORALS OF PEST AND DISEASE.

Any product recommendations, Tangster? I don't have any pests, but I know quite a few older hobbyists who all of a sudden get a good flatworm infestation. Sounds like a nightmare.

We use revive a new product I also will do a F/W and iodine dip for may pest 50 drops of Lugol's to a 2 qt bowl. for ABOUT 10 mins If you have real flat worms Best get on the ASAP and use Flatworm exit I do the full dose then add 25% more ..
The issue with Flat worms is they die just fine but then they poison the system of water upon their death have plenty of carbon on hand and get it in the filter asap upon completion of the treatment. But don't wait they won't go away and more that die more the water quality will suffer..

Formalin is a great dip for fish. Its just not that easy to come by, 99% of the time you need to order it. As for corals, I use lugol iodine like tangster mentioned.
