I'm SO upset right now! On Tuesday I had a trio of lyretail anthias arrive from Diver's Den (LA). One of them had fungus on her tail fin, which I didn't notice until I put her in the tank. The fungus has gotten worse and now spread to my female flame wrasse. I was treating the whole tank with Pimafix, but that caused oxygen issues and the fish and coral were sick.

So now I need to set up an emergency QT in a rubbermaid tub. I need some pointers on what to do. I have a small power head and heater to use. Can I put the anthias and female flame in there together?

Ugh, I'm just so upset and I don't even know where to start!

If you have saltwater pre-mixed, do a water change large enough to fill your QT tank.

Move over some rock, sponge, filter media, etc from your display tank....anything that has a bacterial biofilm on it.

Do you think I can put the flame wrasse and anthias in the tub together? It's about 10 gallons.
