    I am going to by a 30g qt tank for my 90g tank. My lfs has a complete setup for 300 (tank heater meds filter etc) good deal??

    Seems a bit expensive to me. You would probably be better off looking for a set-up on Craigslist and buying the meds separately. You should be able to get a 30g used set-up for about $125-$150, then just buy the meds you need when you need them.
