Eheim Jager....I'd get the 150 watt or 200 watt for your size tank.....Very very accurate heaters, the dial on them has the temperatures so you can see what your putting the temp at too and always exactly in par with my thermometer.

Thank you. I was just looking at them today and found a lot of people have been having troubles with those heaters. I was also looking into Fluval E Series heaters, but found a lot of love and hate for them...
I think I found the heater I'm going to get, an Aqueon Pro Heater 250 watt.

I currently have 2 hydor theo 400 watt heaters. I really like them. They are simple but effective. One of them was keeping my tank at 78 degrees and my sump is in my garage with no heat. I'm also in central Oregon where it is freaking frigid. I now have 2 of them in sump just in the case one of them gives out. I also used to have 2 via aqua titanium heaters and those worked really well too.

Let us know how you like the aqueon....I had a aqueon Hob on my freshwater I use to have and loved it. Also had a aqueon circulation pump and switched to a koralia after the aqueon stopped working after 3 months. And the koralia is a 1000 times better, so I guess you could say I've had a good and bad experience with them.

I have 2 aqueon pros in 2 different setups and a friend has the same, both for over a year in all tanks. I haven't been able to find anyone having trouble with an aqueon and they're inexpensive on amazon.

Two aqueons shorted out tanks in my buddy's system, alot of current lol. Jager Titanium heaters are the only thing I use anymore, never had one fail in 4 years.

That's not good. Was it an all black pro model or the base one?

That being said, Marineland Customer Service, top notch.
