    Its what I use . I kept a little fish in there to keep it going built a set of lights for it to hold corals a few weeks and it works for me.

    It has t5's on it wouldn't that be enough for the corals

    It will support most soft coral. I suggest having similar lighting in the qt and the main tank. This way you do not have to acclimate them to a stronger light. That is if you have mh lights in the main tank.

    If you have the proper bulbs and enough tubes then you can keep all corals under them , I never bother with the acclimating to light or water They go from one to the other .. I have never been a person to mess with a fish quarantine ever and if I trust the source of the coral I'll not put it in the nano either, Just the corals that the wife may get from her club members all go in the Nano . I have been infested several times with different pest from the club peoples corals .. I have 5 corals now that came in from a trusted source from under T5's with the UVL lamps and I sat them on my farg tray right under 400W M/H's they did fine .
