queen angel shedding?

    i have a queen angel i got afew weeks ago hes still in a 40 gallon qt tank. hes eating like a champ so im not to worried. he is about 4-5 inches long and it looks like hes shedding his scales. any ideas as to whats going on?is he really shedding?

    They don't shed. Does it look like someone poured powdered sugar on it. (If it looked like someone poured salt on it I would say ich but I'm guessing marine velvet here).

    no its not ich i have experience with that. this is like clear looks like dead scales coming off
