ok heres the story my gf thinger wanted a queen angle for her 225. i got one from a local reefer who was breaking down his tank hes about 4-5 inches, problem solved...... until the day i was picking it up, her tank got ick.i had already paid for the fish so i had to take it. i barrowed a 40 gallon breeder from a friend for just in the mean time but he now needs the tank back. so now im left with 3 options. put the queen in the ick tank and pray.or put it in a 29 gallon biocube wich used to house mmy octopus and now only has a damsel and a pencil urchin. or put it in my 55 gallon reef and pray it doeesnt kill/ eat any coral... im leaning tward the biocube. any input?

I say try the reef. If she starts picking you can move her, but try that tank first since it's bigger.

I would take everything out of the biocube and put her in that.

+1 on the biocube until the 225 is clear.

I would recommend to put her in the biocube as well.... that way you don't run a risk with your corals or other fish.
    Best of luck to you!

While the biocube is not ideal, it is better than a tank infested with ich or a reef tank. Consider the biocube a quarantine tank. It is not a permanent home and will be fine until her tank is ready for it.

+1 to that. its just like quarantining a fish more or less.
