This is not a cheap hobby. Mistakes can be very costly. Buyer beware. My father always told me to watch out for something that looks to good to be true. Queen Angels grow huge and they are not reef safe at all.
There are many dwarf angels that are beautiful and are less problematic. I have two angels, a Lemonpeel which is a dwarf and an Asphur which I read to be the only regular angel that is somewhat reef safe and does not grow as big as most of the others. I have three tangs that are growing bigger than the Asphur.

yeah, I think this is a dream fish that i wont be getting right now.
I'm considering a flame, coral beauty or potters for now.

You need a 200+ gallon aquarium to house one comfortably IMO. I have seen them kept in large SPS reefs though.

well im gonna disagree with some people here - my friend has a queen in his reef tank, and everything is fine.
All angels are considered 'with caution'. I guess its just a risk you have decide if your willing to take?

man you are making this decision even harder.

I just found out the fish is only about 2 inches. I really don't know what to do now.

Listen, anything is possible and a lot has to do with feeding your fish three times a day. But always take heed to suggestion.

Yeah. I think I'm leaning towards a flame angel, not just b/c of size but i also read that queen angels can be shy and skittish, this was confirmed by someone I know, that has had a couple of them. I want a fish that would be front and center.
I guess I wont be 100% decided until I actually at the LFS though.
Thanks for all the input everyone.
