Question about Adding Sand...?

    I tried that also using a gallon ziploc. it still clouded up on me. It could just be the type of sand I use. Mine was/is dry sand so that could be the difference.

    Well Ill be getting the sand tomorrow from the store, and adding it, probably will do 40lbs. and do it all at once to get it over with...

    Im doing this cause my fish seem to think its funny in their homes in their caves to push the sand around and show glass!!.. I thought 1.5-2 inches for the bed would have been good but I wanna up it a little now after seeing their antics.

    idk if this is pre washed but if not, one of the best ways to wash sand is to put a small amount in a pillowcase and then just run some water through it for a few minutes... the pillowcase traps the sand but all the dust goes through! ive done about 150 lbs this way and had no dust at all when water was added

    thats odd for tangs to be pushing sand!? lol they must just like making your life hard ;)

    Yeah they kick up sand and it looks like they are eating something. Wouldn't surprise me.
