Does anyone know if you place two bubble corals beside each other if they would sting each other? Would it matter if one was a Green Bubble Coral and the other one was regular?

Typically when you have to of the same species of coral they will NOT sting each other but I have seen acanthastrea echinatas sting each other. I am trying to think if I have ever put two bubbles together..... Honestly it only takes maybe a day to find out if it will work. If you see sweeping tentacles and a damaged coral, move them, if not they will be fine.

    Happy placement!

I would say give it a shot. I know that if you place a frogspawn and a hammer next to each other, they will not be hurt by each other; they are very closely related. As Dr.Fragenstein said, if you see that one or both are injured, move them back apart again.

I did not realize that you could put these beside each other either. I have so many aggressive species in my tank (2 bubbles, frogspawn, hammer, torch) that I am running out of room for the nice stuff.:p (Doesn't help that I have been fragging like crazy)

I have put the bubbles beside each other. One is actually a little lower than the other, but when their tentacles come out they should touch each other. They made it through the night and are still looking good this am. I was just wondering.

to expand on it slightly... you can put a frogspawn, hammer, and/or torch next to each other.

    Any
Euphyllia can go together. I have my torch and hammer close.
