    Are they reef safe?

I have read they nip at SPS...is this true? Does anyone have experience with them in a mixed reef?

I have a green clown in my SPS tank. Hasn't bothered anything. Uses an acro as a home.

I have one yellow and one green and neither bother any coral. The green seems to host a mushroom and the yellow loves to hang in the xenia but never any nipping or damage that I can see

Does anyone see any problems for clown gobies with the following tank mates?

    Blue Hippo Tang
    Two Spot Bristletooth Tang
    2 Oscellaris Clowns
    Diamond Goby
    Cleaner Wrasse
    2 Chromis

Also, is there a difference in attitude with the different colors of goby?

I have a green clown. Chills on the highest rock hanging out of a nook watching the tank, no problems with sps yet. Eats flakes and pretty much anything I've put in the tank so far. You have some large fish that could probably swallow the clown goby. If they are too small to swallow him, you should be ok.

All of my fish are supposed to be non aggressive and non predatory. Will this still cause an issue? I have no aggression in the tank as of yet...except the bristletooth tang likes to chase the diamond goby.

I have mine with a hippo, clown, hawkfish and a 5" pearly jawfish with no issues so you should be ok.

As far as the color differences, I have yellow and green as I mentioned before but have also had black and citrinis and they all seem to behave pretty much the same IMO. The citrinis definitely was the largest at apx 2" when it finally passed after 5 years (sad day) and the black was definitely the most passive. On another note, the yellow seems to be the little terror of the tank and chases my green spotted putter (who is larger) out of it's territory every once in a while - I call him Joe Pesci 8)

Can't go wrong with any of them and lots of personality for little fish

I think you would be fine as the gobies are perchers. If the tiny little guy was constantly swimming around I'm sure the tangs would mess with em but you should be ok.

While at the LFS today, I was told that they would most definitely kill some of my SPS. Is this correct? I thought it depends on the individual fish more than on the actually species.
