My cucumber seems to be staying on the glass and is stubbier in his appearance....I do see him on the substrate periodically as well....coloration is good, just curious if this is normal behavior?

I'm not sure...no, I've not seen him actually eat I don't think, he seems to like the glass so I keep some algae on there and he seems to be cleaning....I'll watch it closer.

    What genus is your cuke?

Holothuria (tigertails, etc) tend to stay in/on the sandbed, while Cholochirus (generally pink or yellow) tend to climb the tank panels and rockwork.

I'm not sure. I haven't been able to find a pic of him on the net. He's blue with yellow coloration. He's gorgeous basically :) He really does seem to prefer the glass......He was more on the rock work at the LFS.
