I attached 3 pictures of the lid on my protein skimmer to see if anyone elses does this. This begins to happen within less then 24 hours of cleaning it and I find myself pushing the lid back on almost twice a day. and the foam still tends to come out the little holes on the top. Any advice on stopping this?

Mine has a ring inside to prevent the foam from coming out the holes. Look on the bright side, your skimmer seems to be working well

Lol almost seems to be working to well. Think I can just put something heavy on it to keep it in place and what can I do to keep it from coming out the holes?

My skimmer has a ring inside but I still occasionally get some foam coming out of the holes. The good news for me is that my lid has some screws that tighten it to the collection cup so I don't have issues with the lid rising up.

So I guess this is kinda normal problem hence why your skimmers have a way to secure it and my lid just sits on top and nothing really holds it. I guess ill try putting a rubber band around it. I thought maybe I didn't have the skimmer adjusted right or something.
