Question about feeding bleeny, and hermit crabs

    Hey There,

    I was woundering if i can feed my lawn mower bleeny, and hermit crabs algae from a freshwater source? I have a tank were I grow freshwater algae for my plecos.;D Will this work in the salt tank or will the algae just pollute to tank? Thanks for your time,

    Freshwater algae will die quickly in saltwater and will pollute your tank. Buy either some roasted nori from a health food store or Seaweed Selects from your lfs.

    You can get the dried nori and ive also used the dried alge tablets they look like little disk the fish seem to like em.
