Question about flow

How much flow through a tank is too much?

I have a MaxiJet 600 and a 1000, with two 214 Power Sweeps in a 35 gallon tank. The 600 is in the back upper left corner shooting down the length of the back glass behind the rock. The 1000 is behind the rock on the right end pointing strait onto the side panel of glass. And the two Power Sweeps are pointing towards the middle of the tank from the top front corners.

Is this too much flow for my tank? I have zoas, star polyps, and tonga mushrooms which all don't seem to mind it. Niether does the fire shrimp, crabs or snails. But I added a Percula clown the other and it was dead in 30 hours, with no sign of physical trama. I did notice that it was missing a portion of a fin after getting it home.

that should be plenty of movement in your tank! I am only running 2 powerheads and it is giving just enough circulation in my tank. And I have a 90 gallon

 

With this much water circulation in your tank. I would suggest maybe try a fire fish! They are a wyrm fish but seem to like alot of water movement

I would doubt it. How did he act when he was first in there? Was he able to handle it? Are there dead spots at all? Current in a tank shouldn't kill a fish.
