I know a guy selling a 75 gallon aquarium. He is keeping a reptile in there right now so my ? is; is it possible that this aquarium glass could be produced very weak/thin for the use of reptiles and would be too weak for water?

Yes, most tanks made for reptiles are much weaker. I haven't heard of many 75 gallon reptile habitats though, so I think it would be worth looking into.

If you buy it make sure the glass is about 1/4 inch thick. That is what my 75 gallon has.
