I have a 65 gallon tank and I have bought some coral frags and was wondering if I could get some advise about lighting. My tank is 36 wide by around 23 tall. I have two compact florescent that have the double lights each white 10,000k 96watt and actinic 96 watt . I also have a t5 HO 39w and a actinic t5 that is build on the canopy . Do I need to use all these lights ? Do they run for 6 hours..I have noticed hair algae in the tank and the frags dont look too good. Any advise would be appreciated.:)

i would advise using all lights lised. usally most use actinics 10-12hrs and full lights 6-8hrs. as for hair algae get some snails, crabs, tang to eat it. also check your nitrates and phosphates.

also PC bulbs need to be replaced 6-9months and t5's 1 year. UVL (pc/t5) and ATI(t5) make good replacement bulbs.
